Where to find ozan

Exit the den and go back to Ozan, telling him about everything that transpired below. As he does not know the HQ's location either, he suggests following Khnum when he goes there to meet you. Tail Khnum around Draynor Village, keeping your distance at all times.

Eventually, he leads you to the abandoned jail east of the village. Enter the ruins to confront Khnum. When he finds out that you have been working together with Ozan, he explains why he turned over to the dark side. When Ozan was being banished from the city, Khnum was wrongly laid off for assisting his friend and letting him inside the palace. Khnum, serving loyally for the past twenty years, was devastated and became hateful of the city, and Ozan.

Suddenly, Leela appears, mistaking you and Ozan as members of The Skulls, ready to shoot her crossbow. After explaining her the situation, you discover that the kidnapping Khnum mentioned involves Al Kharid's prince, Ali - he was taken while he was touring Lumbridge. You are given a few interrogation techniques to use on Khnum - choose the option to let him stay locked up.

Ozan, using his knowledge of Khnum, helps you convince him to give up the kidnapping plan. Khnum reveals that they are simply henchmen, working for a Lady Keli , and that they only acted as guides around Misthalin, sometimes acting as the muscle. She was supposed to leave via a ship on the south coast of Draynor, along with their captor. Head south, following the coastline, until you meet up with the kidnappers near the bridge that leads to the Wizards' Tower.

Talk to Lady Keli to initiate another cutscene. Keeping a blade on the prince's neck, she warns you to back off. As soon as you refuse, she converts the mercenaries into thralls to fight you before escaping by waters. Defeat the Skull mercenaries and Joe and pick up the ransom note , which reads as follows:. Follow the path of the sun into the lion's mouth. The emir's heart for the prince's life. You have until the sun sets on the desert two days from now.

Leela, adamant to get the prince back, requests you to get the news to her father, the Spymaster, Osman. As he does not trust Ozan or you, she gives you a passphrase as a safe passage into the palace quarters.

When asked, agree to accompany Ozan to Al Kharid - travel by whatever means are suitable. When inside the city, head up to the palace entrance. Try to enter, but the guard refuses to let you under any circumstance. Fortunately, Ozan is already hatching a plan - he plans to make his way into the palace by the rooftops. Attempt to climb up the brickwork to trigger another cutscene where the Menaphite ambassador, Jabari is "negotiating" with Osman, Hassan and the Emir to put a Menaphite on the throne of Al Kharid, in case the ailing Emir dies.

The Emir instantly abandons the idea of a Menaphite ruling Al Kharid and tells the ambassador that they will find the prince. After the ambassador and the Grand Vizier leave, the Emir and Osman discuss the kidnap and the ransom.

When Osman mentions that the " Kharid-ib " could be a demand, the Emir announces that the Kharid-ib must not leave Al Kharid, though Ali must be recovered at any other cost. Ozan, opting to keep the prince as the main priority, suggests stealing the "Kharid-ib". Climb the brick-work and break-in through the skylight to the south. Inside the treasure room, open one of the ornate chests to obtain the scroll, History of the Kharid-ib ; read it to understand the logic behind a puzzle.

An example solution. You need to drag the chosen weight to the inventory icon on the top left. In the centre of the room are 9 weights , 8 of which are equal in weight and the final is heavier than the rest. You need to retrieve the odd weight by inspecting and using the nearby Het scales. Do NOT click reset before depositing a weight in your backpack, or the game will think that there are no weights on the scale even if you reset the puzzle again.

If you log off, you will find yourself outside the palace. Simply talk to Ozan again to be taken back into the treasure room. Alternatively, you can right-click the statue and "reset". He will walk around in an unorganized fashion from the house to the west and around Draynor until he reaches the headquarters.

You and Ozan will meet him after tracking him to the deserted jail east of Draynor. Enter the jail and a cutscene will start between you, Khnum, Ozan, and Leela. This is a lengthy conversation, but at the end you will learn that there is a plan to kidnap Prince Ali by means of a ship located on the southern shore of Draynor Village. The ship is located east of the bridge that leads to Wizards' Tower. Speak with the mercenary named Lady Keli and another cutscene will begin.

She will leave and you will have to fight the low-leveled mercenaries. Ozan and Leela will teleport in and help you fight them. Take the ransom note. Leela will tell you a pass phrase which you should remember. If you feel like you may forget, put it in your notes tab. You will then have to meet Ozan in Al Kharid.

After talking with Ozan, go into the palace. The guard will not let you enter. You and Ozan will have to think of a plan.

Make your way across the rope and climb the bricks. A cutscene will start with Jabari, a Menaphite, is negotiating to put a Menaphite ruler in charge of Al Kharid after the Emir.

Attempt to climb the bricks again and go through the skylight and into the palace. A short conversation will start. When that's finished, open an ornate chest to receive History of the Kharid-ib. You can only perform two weighings to figure out which is the heavy weight. If you log out at any time you will appear near Ozan outside the palace, but can quickly get back by speaking with him.

Here are your instructions:. You will have two attempts at finding the heavy weight. Drag any 2 sets of 3 weights to both sides of the scale. If one side is heavier, that is the side the heavy weight is on. If both sides are the same weight, it means you didn't pick up the heavy weight yet, and it's still on the bottom row. There is now a 1 out of 3 chance of getting it right if they're still the same weight.

Ozan and the adventurer returned to the Kharid-ib on request of Osman. Osman explained to them how to obtain the Kharid-ib and then left the vault, locking the door behind him. Ozan and the adventurer took the Kharid-ib and left the vault using a rope. They headed for the desert, through the Shantay Pass but they were stopped by Shantay , who started asked them where they were taking him. This confused Ozan and the adventurer, as they didn't intend to bring Shantay with them, but suddenly Shantay started the conversation again, like he hadn't seen Ozan and the adventurer earlier.

He provided them with supplies and let them pass. Ozan and the adventurer discovered a broken sundial with Het 's face on it. Because Het is related to the Kharid-ib, Ozan believed this to be a good start. They repair the sundial and move to another one guarded by bandits. The bandits, like Shantay, acted confused, but then suddenly attacked the heroes. After defeating the bandits, they fixed the second sundial. The third sundial, however, was missing some pieces. The Kharid-ib made a strange sound, and the ground below the pair turned to quicksand, sucking them through into a cave below.

The adventurer dropped the Kharid-ib in the fall, and Ozan saw a strange creature take it. Ozan hurt his leg in the landing, and sends the adventurer off to search the tunnels leading out from the cavern. When they return, he admits to having landed on the missing piece, and the pair slowly make their way along the passage indicated by the sundial of Crondis, which fell with them. They emerged in a room filled with dung kalphites , which they slew until they found the one that stole the Kharid-ib.

After they recovered the gem, Leela threw a rope into the cave, rescuing them and allowing them to fix the final sundial. The sundial pointed towards a forgotten temple of Amascut , in the shape of a lion, partially buried in the desert sands. There they confronted Lady Keli, who threatened to kill the prince and everyone else present unless she was given the Kharid-ib.

The gem protests against this plan, through Lady Keli's followers, Apep and Heru. Eventually, however, Lady Keli got hold of the Kharid-ib, revealing herself to be Amascut , the goddess of Destruction in the Desert Pantheon.

She orders her followers to kill the heroes, while she flees with the Kharid-ib, leaving Prince Ali behind. Leela and the adventurer return to Al Kharid with Prince Ali, after defeating the two thugs, but Ozan remains behind.

He has decided that he cannot return to Al Kharid without the Kharid-ib, as it was his idea to steal it, and therefore his fault that Amascut has the powerful artefact. Ozan smuggled himself into Menaphos , making the Shifting Tombs his home. He adopted the disguise of the Jack of Spades and began a crime spree in the city, becoming infamous for his thefts and generosity to the poor. When the adventurer, who had arrived as part of the envoy, tracked him down, he returned the stolen items and explained how the tombs functioned.

In order to secure Commander Akhomet's support for Osman's attempted coup, she demanded the Jack of Spades be handed over to face justice. He was involved in a raid on one of Lucien 's bases, alongside Sir Owen and Ariane, on behalf of Crux Eqal , though they arrived too late. When he was present, building the Dominion Sandtower or Sand Pyramid granted double experience. Ozan plays a large role in the RuneScape cinematic trailer that could be watched here. The trailer opens in the druidic city of Taverley, where Sir Owen and Ariane are talking on a balcony while Ozan wanders past a couple of girls in the street below.

Suddenly, a gigantic troll appears and wrecks havoc before charging straight at Ozan, who dodges the first swing of the troll's enormous axe, but the scene changes to a flashback when he couldn't evade the second strike. The Raptor saves Ozan by slamming into the troll's axe shield-first. As the troll attempts to grab him, Sir Owen leaps off the balcony railing and smashes its right arm to little effect, and is shoved aside into a pillar.

Ariane seizes her chance and hit it with a continuous stream of ice, freezing it solid. Ozan then shoots an arrow into the creature's chest, shattering it into blocks of frozen troll.
